Played through mission 6 in the single player campaign.Ĭontrols do take getting used to but are serviceable with a little effort. I don't think the ship damage/destruction was as well done as SFC/KA (ignoring improvent of graphics technology), though. Neither the Ctrl/Alt or the mouse buttons worked for me. I can't find any way to change the speed on the game. You can't crash into a planet or other ships - you just 'bounce off'. Ship movement took a little time to get used to, but it seems fine (I was playing the defiant and it seemed to be reasonable compared to how it looks on the show). Played a couple of skirmishes for about 15 minutes. Apparently, something I was pressing caused the game to minimize several times during playing but it wasn't crashing. I had no performance problems (3 Ghz computer, 2GB memory and a 6800GS video card). The game takes aup about 3.15 GB of space
The slot mine was in was poorly made and the disc was loose. The game comes on one dvd in a double sized dvd case that has room for 6(!) discs.
